In Div2 however it just results in the freezes we're all familiar with. That's the "standby list" and it should and everywhere else does get flushed as soon as its actually needed for something. There's some weird interaction between Windows and Div2 which prevents the program from being able to request memory which Windows has already filled with preloaded stuff it thinks you might want to run later. In any event - the (no crashes for two months, at all) solution for me was to use the Intelligent Standby List Cleaner utility every time I want to play Div2. I can't find it to credit the original poster, but this was assuredly not my discovery. The solution which worked came from a post here in this sub, months back. ![]() I had constant "game freezing" hard locks through the last few updates and tried almost every solution posted here and on the official boards.
